An enigmatic figure planted a flower in a gun barrel, countering the shot heard round the world with the message that it's now time to Make Love, Not War!

March on the Pentagon 1967*

*Wikipedia and other sources say the figure in the image is George Harris, who later gained notoriety as Hibiscus in the Cockettes. Hibiscus is no longer alive to confirm or deny the story, but we have reason to believe that the individual in the photo is still alive, once traveled with both the Living Theater and the Hog Farm, and has, on occasion, created art and magic under the handle Anonymous Bosch.  The message that anonymous individual delivered that fateful day in '67 is powerful either way and, as Ken Kesey once said, "it's the truth even if it didn't happen."
