As the topic of this post says, there are indeed new Mike DuBois Blotter Art prints coming soon.

Mike DuBois has been doing licensed designs and unique parking lot art starting with the Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia Band and expanding to cover Levon Helm’s Rambles, Bob Weir and Phil Lesh’s “Furthur” project and other gigs too numerous to mention.

Thus far he has created a handful of designs for the Shakedown Gallery, but our catalog of Mike DuBois designs is going to expand rapidly in the months ahead.

Reddit.com and then DoseNation.com and BoingBoing.net all picked up the image of Randal Roberts’ Psychedelic Homer Blotter and the image went viral. I can’t think of a more deserving person than Randal to get the attention. When a mutual friend of Randal and myself contacted me to produce his Homer painting as a blotter print, I was flattered. It’s one of the trippiest blotter prints ever!

In the aftermath of Homer going viral, I vowed to do a site redesign and make Shakedown Gallery’s online presence more e-commerce friendly. This redesign is still a work in progress, but the current version feels much more user-friendly than the last go-round.
