Grateful Dead "Deadicated" Blotter Art Release

Grateful Dead Deadicated Blotter Art

In 1991, Arista Record released "Deadicated: A Tribute To the Grateful Dead", a rainforest benefit album, with significant proceeds from its sale being donated to the Rainforest Action Network.

The album featured covers by artists as varied as Elvis Costello, Dr. John, Janes Addiction and Warren Zevon performing such classics from the Grateful Dead catalog as "Ripple", "Deal", "Casey Jones", "To Lay Me Down" and more.

Long-time Grateful Dead artists (and Shakedown Gallery contributors) Mikio Kennedy and William Giese produced the album cover as a beautiful full-color oil painting and have now made it available, for the first time ever, as a signed, numbered blotter art print.

The edition size is 125 pieces.
Signed numbered prints are now IN HAND AND READY TO SHIP.
Every print in the edition is signed by BOTH ARTISTS.

The General On-Sale will begin Thursday, February 2nd, on ShakedownGallery.com at 9 am Pacific time.

Click here on Thursday to navigate directly to the purchase page.

The print measures 10 inches by 6.25 inches and is perforated into 1,000 quarter inch squares.

The design was printed offset using soy based inks.
